Wefarm has raised investment from some of the world’s leading VCs, including True Ventures in Silicon Valley, and looking to add to our world class team that’s based in London, Nairobi, Kampala and Dar-es-Salaam.

This role will be key in supporting the implementation and roll out of a data-driven approach to Wefarm’s sales strategy and commercial operations. Your main responsibilities will be to develop and report on key indicators of sales performance, and use those reports to help shape Wefarm’s commercial strategy, market optimization, and drive new projects or markets for Wefarm’s commercial team.
We are looking for a self-starter with previous experience in a similar role or management consultancy. The ideal candidate will have a strong numbers background, but more importantly be able to provide fresh and innovative analysis and strategic insight to support the shaping and implementation of Wefarm’s commercial strategy both in current and new markets.
Work cross-functionally to establish and scale key sales performance indicators across markets
Develop external reports & analysis of key data for partners (e.g. investors, brands, retailers) and senior management
Drive improvement of on the ground sales team and retailers in the Wefarm network through scalable analytics
Work with Snr. Commercial Manager to shape Wefarm’s Commercial Strategy
Conduct regular industry and partner research & analysis to identify trends and define key sales opportunities in Wefarm’s current markets
Market segmentation, research & analysis to support commercial strategy in Wefarm’s new markets
Work with Snr. Commercial Manager on financial modelling, sales target planning and forecasting
Implement a new CRM and Sales Tracking Process
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
Proven track record of data-driven strategic analysis and strategic advisory
Background in consultancy or sales led industries
Excellent communication skills
